Creative Director
I am a strategic and highly collaborative Creative Director. In my role as Head of Design & UX, I led a team of multi-disciplinary designers to create a fully branded experience for our clients.
I created the strategic vision that we pitched to our clients based on the RFP and their desired KPIs. I managed the content produced which covered digital products, print, social, and videos. For the local clients there was often the need to create brand guidelines as part of the service, and for the global clients we created a tailored experience that hits the brand’s end user goals.
In my previous role as Head of Design for Branded Content I led the interactive journalism from concept to execution for the Branded Content department at USA Today and my work there consistently won a variety of different industry awards.
Product Designer
I am passionate about visual storytelling and thrive on ensuring that we have the right vision to deliver to our audiences. As Head of Strategic Design & UX, I managed the products for the Branded Content department at USA Today and the work produced consistently won a variety of different industry awards.
In my previous role as Senior Designer, I created all of the online advertising products for their Branded Content studio working within the framework of USA Today’s different content management systems for all of their 200 newspapers.
As Head of Strategic Design & UX, I managed the strategy for enhancing the user’s experience for all of the branded content clients. I focused on both the creative process and then the performance analytics to ensure we continued to improve on what we created. I managed the vision for these pieces based on the RFPs we received, managed the execution of their pieces and then monitored the performance in order to direct product iteration and evolution.
Design Strategist
As a design strategist I work on solving complex problems by using creative insights to apply structured solutions to our current processes, client brands and the products that I work with.
Since graduating from Parsons the New school in Strategic Design Management, I have used user centric design thinking to help evolve the way in which we work and the product suite we deliver.
Currently, I work on developing processes that streamline how our Creative Directors and Art Directors work in order to accommodate the rapid growth of our department.
Leadership
I love to develop and grow the people I manage and have been privileged enough to watch individuals thrive during their time in my team. As a leader I focus on communication, collaboration and team culture. I believe that my dedication to those pillars have helped me to strategically lead award winning teams.
Product Evolution
As Head of Design & UX, I created the strategy implemented to enhance the user’s experience for our clients and ensure product iteration and evolution.
By analyzing the data across our products, I was able to see patterns in consumer behavior and focus on our target audiences. This led to more thoughtful and compelling content which further enhanced the relationship between our audiences and our clients.
In doing so, it has driven revenues (both internal and client) and has led to repeat business, successful product launches, and further business growth.
